There are lots of dynos around, so why choose Tecmotion for your tune up?
Expertise
Tecmotion's proprietor Matthew has a degree in computer science, and wrote his first automotive eproms in 1986. Throughout his career, Matthew has worked extensively with virtually every computer system imaginable including extensive work with embedded systems like those used for engine management in cars. No competitor boasts such a strong technical background.
Race and Street Proven
At Tecmotion we run the tune ups we provide in our own cars. In fact, Tecmotion's dyno tuning procedure is so good that we have stopped bringing a laptop computer to the drag strip because the setup done on the dyno is so close to actual road or track conditions that the car never needs trackside adjustment. Matthew also drives another modified Tecmotion tuned 4.6 Mustang on the street year round.
Value
Other shops sometimes appear competitive in terms of pricing, but when you add up surcharges for strap down, additional pulls, sensors, operator, and other charges you will find that Tecmotion offers the best value in dyno tuning around. Many standard operations such as Mustang chip tunes are offered at a flat rate including the dyno, tuning service, and chip system, while hourly services include operator and all the sensors to avoid pricing surprises.
Ford Experts
While we work on many vehicles and engine management systems, Tecmotion's expertise with Ford is extensive. We have built Mustangs from the ground up for our own use, done virtually every kind of performance upgrade on Ford engines and drivelines imaginable, and race and show Mustangs extensively during the summer months. When you want someone to tune your Ford, noone knows it better inside and out than us. What's more, since we don't sell or install parts on customer cars, we can give you completely objective advice on your project.
